Hey Deviants! I'm an aspiring artist trying to better myself by hobnobbing with the big kids here at DeviantArt. I'm an advanced amatuer photographer and hope to have my own studio one day very soon (actually buying equipment right now). One day i'll be able to call myself a Professional Photographer and have my work be shown in magazines or even galleries!

Ok so this is my first journal entry. I've been working on various projects and trying to learn as much as I can on my own while I'm not in school. I recently had the fortune to have a good friend of mine come and pose nude for me to photograph. Nerve-racking is not the word.
I am glad to report that although I was very nervous to do this it turned out better than I had hoped. I was able to maintain my professionalism and composure throughout the whole shoot. My model was wonderful and made me feel comfortable while I was trying my hardest to do the same for her. I can only hope that every model I work with will be the same.

WOW! I truly appreciate the sentiment man. I just try to do the best I can with what i've got. I learned really early that money doesn't equal art and I try to remember that every time I pick up my camera.
